Fernando Pinto do Amaral
(b. 1960)
'Pinto do Amaral has a clear and critical vision, dissecting peoples’ everyday gestures and confronting us with canvases that are evocative of Rembrandt’s chiaroscuro. Conversely he signals the luminous aspects of existence through a register of memories that maintain a close proximity to a present time, which is one of the most significant sources of his poetry.'
Fernando Pinto do Amaral was born in Lisbon where he still lives and where he has until recently been teaching at the Classical University of Lisbon. He is currently the Commissioner for the National Reading Plan. Besides being a poet, he is also a novelist, a literary critic, an essayist and a translator.
Poetry books since 2000: Poesia Reunida (2000), Pena Suspensa (2004), A Luz da Madrugada (2007), Paliativos (2012)

There are many variations of passages of Lorem Ipsum available, but the majority have suffered alteration in some form, by injected humour, or randomised words which don't look even slightly believable. If you are going to use a passage of Lorem Ipsum, you need to be sure there isn't anything embarrassing hidden in the middle of text. All the Lorem Ipsum generators on the Internet tend to repeat predefined chunks as necessary, making this the first true generator on the Internet.
